MISSION STATEMENT
One out of 3 Americans will live as part of a StepFamily at some point in their life, so StepFamilies are hardly unusual! Unfortunately more than 60% of marriages involving stepfamily dynamics end in divorce. While Stepfamily life has become so much more predominant, we still attempt to manage it with the same expectations as those of a nuclear family. Often, there are more questions than answers, and more confusions and disruptions than we could have expected. When I became a Stepmom many years ago, and all through my experience, I wished I had somewhere to turn. The StepFamily Center is dedicated to strengthening couples so they can successfully meet the challenges of the StepFamily experience!"
